What are the differences between the bags from each workshop?

The leather bags you see on the website are currently made in three workshops: two in Mexico and one in Morocco. In all these workshops, leather is used, which is the most durable, however, there are many properties that differ products from individual workshops, which of course is also reflected in the price. Below we detail what distinguishes the bags from the workshops.

  • Vegetable tanned leather
  • Tanning mechanically, so the leather patches are very similar
  • Patent leather
  • The bag is impregnated after it is made
  • Perfect finish

Bags from the workshop of Mr. Cruz - Mexico

  • Jucht leather, thickness 2.2-2.8mm
  • Vegetable tanned leather
  • Hand tanning (in the same workshop), so each piece of leather is different and may have imperfections, which makes each bag unique
  • Patent leather
  • The bag is impregnated after it is made
  • Perfect finish
  • Leather trimmed buckles
  • The pattern is punched out with special leathercraft chisels
  • After making the bag, it dries in the sun, thus it acquires a beautiful, straw color

  • Jucht leather, thickness 2-2.2mm
  • Vegetable tanned leather
  • Hand tanning (in a traditional Moroccan tannery), so each piece of leather is different and may have imperfections, which makes each bag unique -
  • Patent leather
  • Buckles not trimmed with leather
  • The bag is not impregnated after it is made
  • Pattern punched by hand with leathercraft chisels or cut out
  • Bag elasticity*: 3

*Elasticity is our internal designation, it is mainly determined by the thickness of the leather. 1 means the bag is not very flexible and stiff (especially when fresh, 2 is medium stiff, while 3 means the bag is not very stiff, quite flexible for a leather bag
